got a lotta work done today. 100 pgs of reading, DONE! cs quiz, DONE! perl hw, DONE! philosophy reading, that can wait. hehe. weekend past extremely fast with me doing not much other than sleeping and eating. hehe. ^_^x

sometime last nite after i finished my website update, i realized KOC (King of Chaos) was back online. not sure if this is a good thing or not, but yah, gimme soldiers! ^_^x

wow! how long has it been since i last updated the website. it's just been one hectic week for me. had to catch up on so much work. reading, homework, programming, arguments w/ morons, girl problems (j/k ;p), and etc. then of course there was that midterm on friday. it just caught up on me by surprise and on thursday nite i was cramming like crazy. had more than 50 pgs to read (it's reader pages, not regular pages) so 1 page = 2 book pages. this is philosophy if you are curious and i was pretty happy with how i performed. of course now it's waiting time to see how well i did.

King of Chaos died some time during the middle of the week. actually it's a good thing cause i was spending way to much time on it. hehe. supposedly they'll return 'sometime soon'. *shrug*

got myself a new desktop theme: screenshot. using the QuickSilver theme from LightStar Technologies and wallpaper from studio.twenty.eight. pretty sweet eh? i dont particularily like the current visual theme. i'd really prefer a more silverish (lighter gray) one. wish me luck on my search.

for all the hardcore HNG addicts, 3 new chapters of HNG chinese manga has just been released. satisfy your hunger!!! i've been waiting for a new chapter for over 2 weeks and if you've been in the #calnime chatroom, you know i've been complaining. hehe

fell asleep reading last nite. but i managed to read 3/4 of th reading assignment and knew enough to have some good discussions in class.

saw this when entering a M&M contest and it reminded me of rosenuance. we would be talking about traffic lights and someone would say that yellow means to slow down and stop. rosenuance rejects that idea and says whenever she sees a yellow, she would stomp on the gas pedal. hehe. ^_^x

lilpebbly brought up a question last nite i thought was very interesting. forgot about it till today.the question was "Why do asian girls date white guys?" stereotype? truth? rumor? well, her reasoning was that white guys (meaning caucasian, didn't want to offend anyone out there) knew how to treat girls better. they would bring flowers, take them outta dates and etc. 1 example she brought up was how guys ask girls to a formal dance. she says guys @ keppel (my highschool) would go up to a girl and say, "hey you. u wanna go to the dance?" the girl replies, "uh... sure." guy says, "kewl, cya then." then she brings up a white guy @ a different school got the whole class involved and even the teacher and brought baskets of flowers and gifts. i've gotta say that most asian girls that like white guys however are for a different reason. maybe treating them better is one thing, but like the quote "Never judge a book by cover" tells us it's human nature to do so. i mean in "Cooking Master Boy" (an anime i'm watching), the appeal/appearance/aroma of the food has to be good before the customer will try it. even if the food tastes great and would be the best tasting dish in the world, many may be repulsed by it before even attempting to try it. some things i've personally experienced tells me a great deal. i was @ a theme park (i'll keep names, locations, and dates unidentified to protect these ppl) and 2 of my friends (yes, they're asian girls) sees a cute white guy and guess what! they stand next to him quietly and ask another friend that came to take pictures of them with the white guy next to them. if u look @ them, they look like they want a picture with the background. but their real intent was the white guy. it's very common for asian girls to say a white guy is cute (especially when they flip through one of those magazines, what are they called? seventeen or something like that). but u hardly ever hear one of them say an asian guy is cute, although i have heard ppl say that, but it's a very uncommon thing. maybe this isn't why asian girls date white guys at all, but somehow i see a corelationship between them. hehe.
