wow, it's been awhile huh? skip this part if u dont want to hear about my boring life: it's been a pretty hectic week for me. starting with my cs61c proj which i started on sunday @ 10am. only took a dinner break and was hoping to finish it by 12midnite. didnt happen. besides the cs proj due on monday, i also had a 7-10pg paper i needed to write due monday @ 3pm. welp, i end up finishing my cs proj @ 4am. i knew this was going to be an all-niter since the beginning, but i was hoping @ least to finish before my review session @ 10. i spent 2hrs trying to come up with a thesis i was satisified on. this included walks to and from soda. i think the cold breeze helpd. so i'm pounding on my keyboard all nite long and before i knew it it was 10am (thought i was going to say i was done huh?). welp this was my only review session for my philosophy class which i'm doing the worst in. decided it was worth going there and spending an hr. turned out to be a big waste. they discussed nothing that i didn't know (<-- is there some like double negative bad grammar here?). went back to home and continue ponding on my keyboard. got to the point where i didnt care what i got on the paper and i just wanted to finish it. FINALLY finished the paper @ 2:30. spent 30mins proof-reading and printing and ran to class. i've gotta say that scandinavian r5a has been one of the most funnest classes i've ever taken here @ cal. the essays were a bit much, but no one has made class as fun as Gantt did. our separation was quite anti-clamatic. i was hoping for a BIG ending, but apparenlty his previous 2 "surprises" have been reported and the department forbit he do it again. For awhile he showed a movie The Idiots. i don't want to ruin the story, but one time 2 girls got so distressed/disturbed by the ending they ran out crying. Hence his next surprise! He brought in a book filled with pictures of bonobos. in simple words, bonobo's are monkeys that think about sex all the time. there's guy on guy, girl on girl too. as u can see, it got pretty graphical and once again he got reported. i was very disappointed with our ending class. have u seen ocean's eleven? our ending was very similar. the teacher left first leaving us with course evaluations. when ppl finished, one by one ppl left saying "cya" or "bye" or "have a nice summer" and etc. it was a very weird feeling. after class i headed home, did some stuff on my computer, and went to sleep @ 6pm (been awake for 32hrs)

i wake up on tuesday 10am (16hrs of sleep). really reminds me of "berserks" - those warriors which are impenetrable by iron nor steel, battles crazily for days and afterwards becomes super weak and sleeps for days. i've slept for 16hrs many times before, but this was the first time my back ached. i did my ee40 hw and started my perl hw. half way through my perl hw, i found out our perl project presentation was due TODAY! i was F**Q!!! after class, i email our GSI asking if it's still possible to pass the course w/o doing the presentation. he said yes. whew...

now we get to da PARTY! clumsy me forgot to bring my camera, but o well. i had my first drink tonite. before i'd only take sips and it was usually too nasty to continue. i had "2" bottles of sky blue tonite.

tasted like lemonade with a hint of bitterness. something i was able to drink without wincing my face. yes yes, i know it's a wussy drink. but the problem with me drinking is i dont see why i would ever drink. i got nothing than a burning sensation in my stomach yesterday. the only time i felt even a bit of the alcohol's effect was when i was dancing and i couldn't really balance myself quite well, but NOT a feeling i especially liked. some say they're not tipsy/drunk enough to dance yet, but trust me, ppl dont look that great when they're dancing drunk. maybe it's the fact u no longer care how ppl view u. *shrug*. alcohol doesnt taste especially good. i mean for any mixed drink, i can find a better tasting non-alcoholic form of it. getting drunk and losing control of myself isn't really much of a temptation either. oh well. tons of ppl showed up: liam and cunndogg (our hosts), john and john, beardseeba, jeanie, lorie, and milkmandan, amber, damion, jane, and lily, lydia, and a bunch of guys i don't know too well. hehe
