thought of the day: i was reading this article a few days ago: Woman Finds Winning Lotto Ticket in Trash and i quote the lady: "If I drop $100,000 in the street and walk away and the next person picks it up, it's their money," she said. techincally, i find that hard to believe. i mean i've always thought if you found lost money, you were suppose to report it to the police no matter what and if no one claims it within 60 or 90 or whatever number of days, then the money is legally yours. of course if you found like $1 or $5 or even $20, it might be too much trouble for you to go report it. but $100,000 is a different case. i mean, if you found a car, with no license plate, no vin, nothing to link to an owner, does the car automatically belong to you? how bout dumpster diving, which is another good example for this case, since she found the winning ticket inside a trashcan. i know in some places, dumpster diving is legal, but this woman found the winning ticket in a restaurant's trashcan inside the restaurant... wouldn't that be consider theft given a restaurant is a privately own building?

was watching this trailer: The Clearing. the trailer itself was pretty good, but what caught me by surprise was the song. i've heard of this song before, but can't seem to recall where i've heard it. seems like one of those soundtracks that are in multiple movies. after a bit of asking around, fuzzywuzzy found the song title/artist for me: E.S. Posthumus - Nara (Theme to Cold Case). the song is so sweet!
