funny story happened to me yesterday. my oral interview for my japanese course is coming up. having no idea what it was, i went to office hours to ask for guidance. komatsu-sensei was nice enough to give me a briefing on what will happen and what i exactly need to do and how to prepare. afterwards, she asked me if i would like a practice session with her right now. i go sure. (keep in mind that the oral interview is 10mins, so the practice session will be 10mins of non-stop japanese talking). so we chat, all the time, im scared stiff. my japanese isn't that great. i would actually say this was one of the scariest 10mins of my life. so we talk and talk, then the question comes up asking me what i will be doing over the weekend. i interpreted it as what i will be doing over winter break. so i said skiing. so she asks really, over the weekend. then i understood and apologized. told her i would go watch a movie with some friends. She the tells me she watched a good movie. something something lost in translation. all this time i thought the movie got lost in translation or something to that effect. today i find out that Lost In Translation is an actual movie. TOTEMO HAZUKASHI DESNE!!!

speaking about movies, liam, vandel, cd-mcc, narri (speeling?), and i went to watch Master and Commander - The Far Side Of The World. okay movie. sorta dragged on and i was expecting a 50 boat vs 50 boat action. turned out that was Troy. hehe. but overall, the acting was done well.

starting playing GunBound today. fun but i suck big time!
