in psych 160 lecture yesterday, professor serena chen said, "i always wanted to fit in. one thing i remember very clearly is that while kids woke up saturday morning to watch cartoons, i was sent to chinese school. the good news is i finally broke free after sophmore year." quote just brings back memories. not sure if they're good or bad. one more not on installing deadaim for those who don't know how cracks work or how to read .nfo files. for this crack, u have to copy deadaim.ocm over to c:\program files\aim\ and OVERWRITE that file.

several people have reported that the deadaim crack has failed and once again we have the problem of it sending info to jdennis.net and then now we actually have a screen name that IMs us telling us we're using a bad serial number. ( DeadAIMRegIn: The serial number you entered has not been accepted. Your serial number was recognised but it has been used too many times. To request that the serial number be reset click this link. ) welp, here's the temporary fix:

• open "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" in notepad
• Add the following line to it and save: 127.0.0.1 install.jdennis.net
• if it prompts you to input a email/serial #, give it this for now: email: webmistress_sarah@yahoo.com / serial: a99dd27818ef474a

thanks to lowjack for pointing out a extremely kewl new feature. u can now physically remove yourself from other ppl's buddy list. (right click any screenname->remove from user's list). it actually removes u from their buddylist on the aim server. however, the old fuction of chatting while away is temporarily broken and jdennis promises to fix it by the next release.
