wow, it's been awhile since i updated. just been too busy lately. having fun of course. (-__^x)

the business chat went well @ sueon's place. he has a nice apartment for over the summer. the wheels of this business plan has finally been set in motion. if this works out, i'll get 18.75% of the profits. sweet! i'm not authorized to release any info about our business @ this time, but if it all works out, u'll find out in due time.

the downtown LA trip with ungsunghero and horacio turned out to be nothing like we planned. we were going for authentic mexican tacos and green juice, but it turend out it was only available during weekends. walked around downtown LA and chinatown (haven't been there in ages. last time i ever went into one of those department stores was like before highschool). went back to mpk to help fix horacio's computer. we needed the artic silver which chi and mktenniscap had borrowed. after bumping into them, we got into a debate w/ amd vs intel. intel ppl tend to think athlon cpus will spontaneously explode. great argument huh? mktenniscap tells us he plans to watch terminator 3 later that nite and we agreed that we'd come along. horacio said he had other plans. going to a speedtrack in irvingdale (or as ungsunghero puts it: watching cars make left turns). while fixing horacio's computer, i accidentally broke his cdrw. it was a mechanical problem and i was pretty sure it wasn't too hard to fix. behold, because i was lazy for a couple of mins, i spent a couple hours trying to fix the broken cdrw. we had to leave in the middle of fixing the cdrw to go watch T3. last minute, horacio decides that he didnt want to watch cars make left turns and came along with us to watch T3. horrible traffic going to puente hills @ 6pm from mpk. didnt make it to the 7:15 showing and got the 8:05 showing instead. welp, i dont want to spoil T3 for u guys, but after watching the movie, it felt very incomplete. i was left hanging @ the end. the special effects were pretty kewl and this movie was more comical than action. oh yah, nguy2 also to watch it with us. after we broke up after the movies, we went back to horacio's place to continue fixing his computer. FINALLY outta desperation, the cdrw seems to be fixed. it reads the cds and burns them fine, however it now makes a crackling noise whenever it the drive closes. it was a long day and decided to it a day.

for those that missed dng's july 4th party, u guys missed out. swimming, throwing ppl into the pool, eating, korean bbq, fireworks, bottle rockets, joehk's close encounters, and charades. lemme see if i can remember everyone that was there: dng, kutekiwi, joehk, daizie, kcbabe, ohfuee, ghettopink, slicktran, glendia, carole, rosalie, gretta, corliss, staringht, lilsneezy, jorge, sweetlilangel, keito, christine, eugene, aimee, kyle, sueon. (if i missed ur name, gomenasai!) getting the bbq grill to start took forever. first we blamed the charcoal. it was really more of charcoal covered wood chunks. so we added real authentic but old charcoal. then we blamed the lighter fluid. i believe at least half of that can of lighter fluid was used. we just kept pouring more and more. reminded me of that one simpson's episode where homer tries to bbq. after about an hour of trying, we finally get the bbq started. dng provided us with some awesome marinated beef and pork. the good stuff too! had a lot of fun bbqing while the others were playing taboo. after dinner, eugene introduced us to his hoard of "fireworks". the kewlest ones were the bottle rockets which when lighted shoots up into the sky and pops. joehk got WAY into it and while experimenting, a couple shot right @ him. one went through his hair and another hit him smack on the forehead. darkness finally came upon us and ppl were beging to play fireworks. dng has an awesome location. it's on a hill and there's nothing in his backyard besides downhill. we got a really awesome view from up there. then u notice all the illegal fireworks everyone else was playing. hehe. after fireworks, we went back in for charades. team 1 had more good players, but team 2 (team i was on) suceeded @ the end. it was so hilarious. i left around 1 because i had a big day ahead of me @ anime expo, but i'll save that for tomorrow.
