i have always thought myself to be odd (not that im not) since i call screw drivers + (plus) and - (minus). everyone else calls them flat or phillips. then i find out: Hello from Japan, where Phillips and regular screwdrivers are known as "plus" and "minus." just happy im not the only one. (^_^x)

after reading this thread on AT: 4GB Microdrive $299.00 (Retail $499.00), i no longer thing the mini ipod is such a bad deal. apparently the included 4GB Hitachi MicroDrive retails for $500. buying the mini ipod merely for the 4gb microdrive is worth it alone IF you need the microdrive that is (ie compactflash for your canon digital rebel or something). andymack.com shows an interesting surgery on his Creative Nomad 4GB MuVo2 just to get the 4gb microdrive.
