welp, what can i say. i've disappeared for like 3 days and now i'll probably be gone for a week or so for spring break. flight is in 3hrs and i dont think sleeping in this point will do any good for me. can't wait to get back home. for some reason i keep thinking i'm forgetting something. but i've gone through the stuff over and over in my head. usually ends up that i'm just paranoid, but once in awhile it hits u after you reach the airport. sigh....

as i mentioned in my previous post, i finally got through my midterms. not as devasting as those who had their finals (quarter systems ;p), but yah, it was quite a ride. spent so much time studying my head hurted, especially for my philosophy class which i'm not doing that well in. like the stuff they teach, but i'm never good @ writing papers. took some time off my website.

thanks to Rossman from AT, i may have a better host up and running now. for $20/year, i get 300megs of webspage, 500megs of bandwidth per month, 3 subdomains, 10 pop emails, 5 ftp accounts, 5 MySQL databases and has this cool looking control panel. gotta say i'm a lot happier with this server than my previous one. + it now comes with 5 webstats guys for FREE! + tons of cool stuff i can play around with like shopping carts and forums. (^_^x) oh yah! if u find any missing pictures or broken links or just anything that doesnt look right to u, please tell me! changing servers usually breaks a couple things here and there.

did i ever tell u about my favorite class this semester? yep that's scandinavian r5a. i have the coolest teacher imaginable. he gave us the friday before and the monday after spring break off and he even took an extra week off and went to spain to do some research. rumor is he's doing some travel guide on the best beaches in spain/portugal (quoted from his friend). hehe. welp, not only is gantt (our lecturer/professor/whatever he may be) cool, his friend's are awesome too! during the extra week he took off, he sent in subtitutes (close friends i presume) to give us extra opinions/viewpoints on the literature we're reading. i couldn't believe so many good/funny lecturers there could be for one department. i have yet to find anything even remotely similar to how they are able to captures your interest just like that! i mean 1hr goes by so fast (of course unless ur on the spot and he often does that to u, but picking out certain individuals to answer questions). edin, one of the substitutes that came in talked in great details about modern iceland. did you know that iceland hardly ever takes in foreigners into citizenship? even if they do, they are 'forced' to change their name to one of the pre-selected names out of a 300-500 name list. plus they have no last names. let's say your name was Grettir and you were the son of Njal. Then your name would be Grettir Njalsson. If you were a female, you'd be Njalsdaughter. Their fone book is listed in alphabetical order following first names. There was once where they made an exception and gave a renown pianist citizenship w/o requiring him to change his names. the following day, 2000 ppl were lining up at the government office requesting to change their name to that of the pianist. it's been forever since a new name has entered their country. the government denied their request stating this was a special case. also, icelanders love to drink and they drink SO MUCH that the government levy a 100% tax on alcohol hoping to stop this insanity of drinking. u know how airports are international territory and there is now tax on anything. a very common thing would be for ppl to goto the airport on friday nites and just drink. hehe. maybe some of the stuff i mentioned maybe be slightly incorrect and there must be so much i've already forgotten about iceland or cant remember at this moment cause who tries to remember anything when they're having so much fun. it's like hearing a funny joke and then when u try to tell that joke to someone else, u forget like 80% of it so it's no longer funny. hehe.

new Hikaru no Go manga chapter came out yesterday (actually a new anime epsiode was released today also, but the manga moves a lot faster than the anime does). i'm so pissed/sad that the next chapter wont be released till 2 weeks later (chapters are usually released weekly in the Weekly Shonen Jump). the artist claims that there needs that he needs to do some research. u can get the latest chapter (chinese subbed) from here. due to popular demand, i may actually begin translating this manga. here's an example of my work (Warning: There may be some SPOILERS!!!)

midterms are OVER! and spring break has begun! my site's in the process of moving to another server. so there might be some downtime and etc.

last nite was horrible. finished my essay @ 12pm this afternoon and since i had to turn it in @ 3pm, going to sleep wasnt an option since i knew i wouldn't be able to wake up. happy that it's over.

yesterday was st. patricks day and even lsiymle reminded me to wear green. was going to remind you guys too, but i totally forgot about it (maybe cause i was probably dead tired). but thank god no one noticed and i didnt get pinched or anything. hehe.

thanks to ungsunghero for donating this: thread. i'm not sure if i've spoken this in the past, but it is to my belief that most parents, particularily asian parents, find it very disturbing to know that their children are not heterosexual. take me for example, for those in berkeley, you might know that there's the LBGT theme program in la loma, foothill. more info here. anyway, i chose foothill as my 1st choice dorm (because it had nice suites and larger rooms) and my dad (not sure if my mom knew or not) started to act funny and questioned why i'd choose foothill over the units or clark kerr. i gave them the same reasons i gave above, and finally he brought out his main concern, the theme program. all i could do was laugh. then again, besides the outside, no one really know who i am deep down. (^_^x)

sorry about last nite. was too tired to submit my entry. was up for over 24hrs. thursday, took a nap from 8pm to 2am. didnt go to sleep later that nite and went to 'almost' all my classes. in fact i went to my 12-2pm lab 45m early and left @ 12:30. sweet huh? came home, was tired. went to sleep @ 3am and didnt wake up till 6pm. 15hrs of sleep baby!

got myself some new shoes. total came to be $17.63 shipped. would've prefered the black ones, but couldn't justify the extra $10 for just a change of color. besides the navy color isnt bad. if you guys want anything from finsihline, they have an excellent selection in the clearance bin + there's a $10 off anything coupon. coupon code: 1010. i was just worrying about paying my credit card bill when i realized that i didn't owe anything last month. had some invalid charges from amazon.com and they weren't sure about the charges, so i went ahead and paid early in case i'd be charged interest. turns out the chargeback was successful and then i had $100 in credit. w00h00.

speaking of credit cards, stupid associates visa, had that credit card as 'the' credit card on my ebay account. got charged $7 something for ebay fees and i dont even know what prompted me to check the account status online. one day sitting at my computer, checking when my rebates are due, i suddenly remembered that i had a credit card which billing address was set to my dorm address last year. never remembered to change it cause i specifically recalled that their internet site was going funky. welp, opened the online site and was hoping that i nobody from the dorm stole my credit card info, and noticed a $7 charge. in fact it was supposedly only a $5 charge @ the end of january, but since i was several weeks late, i was penalized $2 for interest (i'm suspecting). gave them a call and changed the address and made my payment online. i was happy about the fact i wasnt charged a late fee. usually that amounts to $30 alone! hehe. and for some reason, they say my credit line is $100. i thought it was at least $500. those stupid wackos.

new episode of Wolf's Rain and Cooking Master Boy came out today. nothing too exciting in these 2 episodes. what i really am looking forward to is the next episode of Prince of Tennis which doesnt seem to have a set date for the next episode's releasal.

for those that saw my guestbook yesterday, a visitor suddenly taunts me to meet up with him. not knowing who he really is, i had doubts about if i should meet him or not. decided wth and waited for him @ sather gates, but he doesn't show up and i left in 5 mins since i had class @ 3:30. after i got home, i did some 'probing'. with the help of esca, we believe that he works for the UC Reshall, probably Security Monitor in Unit 2. he wasn't too clever about this alias either cause we already linked it to his aim/email. going through his subprofile viewers, i noticed no one immediately that i personally know, but going through it a 2nd time, i noticed LegendtyperacER. still havent heard a response from him yet. i'll update you guys tomorrow when i find out more.
