Office Depot had a good deal this week. 256MB PC2100 DDR for $5 after rebate. my brother's system now has 512MB PC2100 DDR. and the total cost...? only $5. muwahahahaha. (^_^x) of course i have ungsunghero to thank for telling me about this deal. then again, i got kicked outta his house this afternoon. ;p

According to the class action lawsuit, microsoft violated the antitrust and unfair competition lawsuit, and is now paying for it. for each windows/dos/office/excel/word/works you purchased, they are required to pay you a certain amount in "vouchers" claimable with any computer product, even their competitors.

• Maxtor 9GB ==> Maxtor ATA100 40GB 5400rpm
• ... and the rest remained the same.

watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl yesterday with nguy2 and ungsunghero. pretty good movie. tons of funny stuff and you'll recall familiar parts if u've ridden on the "pirates of the caribbean" ride @ disneyland. (-__^x) before that, ungsunghero and i went window shopping and had dinner @ TGIF. yummy. was invited today to watch BBII, but i thought 2 movies on 2 consecutive days was a bit too much @ the moment. of course, others maybe be spreading rumors that that i've been grounded. lies, i tell you, they're all lies!!! hehe. ;p

fry's is having another sale on the amd xp2000+ w/ ecs k7s5a pro for cheap cheap cheap. not as cheap as the 1st deal in which i got it for $60. $65 still isn't bad. my brother can finally get a computer upgrade. (^_^x)

my addiction to Rise of Nations continues!

so me moving to a new place is confirmed, but i'm only moving up 1 story. room's relatively the same size as my current one by rent is decreased by $200. cd-mcc and my dad both believe that it's rent control. and supposed this room has better sound protection. hopefully the landlady wont be calling us anymore to be quiet. (^_^x)

my day started out pretty well. then it went downhill when my dad wanted to take family pictures of his new dragon statue. i've gotta say, the new dragon statue has brought more pain and discomfort to this family than its original intended to. if i got to choose again, i'd rather we get something else for his bday present. 1st of all, he wanted to take pictures with my brother's digicorder. i advised him that it was a 1MP digicam and offered to use my 4MP digicam, but he declined and said my brother needs to learn how to use his digicorder. I said okay, fine with me. Halfway through, my dad says he wants duplicates w/ my camera. I asked why he bothered using my brother's digicorder if we were going to use my camera. he said he wanted him to learn how to use it. I responded that he didn't need to waste everyone's time to learn. he can learn on his own. he goes, stop being selfish, he's your brother. i'm like how is this being selfish?!?!? he goes, the saying is true, the more knowledge you have, the more selfish you become. at this point, i c no point in arguing further. am i alone when i say i c no basis to his argument?

after many many weeks, Toriyama World finally released a new episode of Naruto. they've got a long way to catchup to aone/anbu.

got a video clip off bittorrent which i thought was worth sharing. it's the matrix (halo remix) (20megs). all i've gotta say is if the camera didnt have a gun, it'd be perfect. enjoy!
